Wonderfalls

Well I thought I was the only person in the U.S. who watched this odd little comedy on Fox about a woman who starts getting advice from talking figurines. But apparently thanks to the forum at Save Wonderfalls they are releasing a dvd with all 13 recorded episodes.

If you never saw the show, it definitely qualifies as a Down the Rabbit Hole diversion.

Excelsior.

How funny, I have absolutely no recollection of this show! None! I will have to check it out sometime. It definitely sounds odd and surreal.

Not surprised. Fox only aired 3 episodes.

The main character was a 20-something woman just out of college with a philosophy degree. Not having any idea what to do with herself, she starts working at a gift shop at Wonder Falls. Plastic figurines, stuffed animals, etc start talking to her and pushing her to help people. The last episode that aired, a nun tries to exorcise her. I doubt I'll buy it, unless I see it in the cheap bin, but certainly worth a rental. I'm curious to see the other 10.
