I don't think my dad is a big reader at all, nor any kind of writer, but my mom is pretty voracious. My grandfather on my mom's side was a great storyteller -- he'd weave these great bedtime stories, not write them down.<BR/><BR/>As for the taste for darkness, I have that too, as well as for lunatic fringe, and I have NO IDEA where it all came from.
